All children’s Sunday School classes meet
in the educational building.

Our classes are divided into these age groups:

  • Toddlers

  • 3 Year olds

  • 4 and 5 year olds

  • 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th Grades (Combined)

Our Children’s Ministry Committee has chosen Great Commission Publication curriculum for our Sunday school lessons. For more information, please visit their website here.

COMMUNICANTS CLASSES:  While children of believers are considered part of the visible church, they are non-communing members (do not participate in the Lord’s Supper) until they personally own and profess faith in Jesus. We use the book, Understanding the Faith by Stephen Smallman to walk the students through the essentials of the Christian faith, modeling the format of The Westminster Shorter Catechism.

and develop positive feelings about themselves.

Creekside Kids also has a musical component, where children will take part in

an annual play or musical.

Classes begin with children in K3 and go through 5th Grade.
Our Youth participate by assisting our Adult teachers.

We use these clubs to organize many fellowship activities for our children.
Summer fun activities are also planned around these groups.

Volunteers

Our mission is to love our covenant children in a safe place where every child and parent sees the love of God in the people who care for them.

To volunteer for the Children’s Ministry, church members may contact our Children's Ministry Director.

Children’s Library

The Children’s Library located behind the fellowship hall in the educational building is an excellent resource for our children. It has many wonderful books that will help our children grow spiritually. There are also many books and videos that develop Christian character in our children. We encourage our children at Perry Presbyterian Church to start early developing a desire for Christian reading.

VBS - Vacation Bible School

VBS has been an important outreach ministry to our community for many years. We help children during this week to learn the truths of Christian faith through Bible stories, games, crafts and music. This is usually scheduled for the first/second full week of June.  See our Vacation Bible School tab for more information or to register!
