"Touching the Lives of Children with God's Love"
Our mission at Perry Presbyterian Playschool is to touch the lives of children with God's love in a Christian environment. Our curriculum of Bible stories, music, school readiness skills, art activities and supervised play is structured to help each child develop self-confidence and self-discipline as they develop spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically. We strive for each child to have a successful school experience so that they are prepared and eager for the next school year.

MEET OUR STAFF
From the Director of Perry Presbyterian Playschool
Jane Shepley
Being the director of the playschool has been one of God's greatest blessings in my life. So many children have entered the doors of this ministry and left their footprints on our playschool and in our lives. Just as the children have left their mark here, many teachers have too. Over the years, Playschool has been blessed with many gifted ladies who have shared God's love with playschoolers. Our teachers give of their time and talents to ensure a loving atmosphere for all our children.
We have four teachers in our
three-year-old classes.
Bonnie Franklin, Elizabeth Day,
Denise O'Neal and Linda Nelson
work as a team to give the
children a great first school experience.
Lynn Watts, Tesa Shelton and Jane Shepley have fun
with the four-year-old playschoolers and strive to
prepare them for their kindergarten year.
We welcome any parents interested in Playschool to
call the director, Jane Shepley, at 478-542-5276. We will
be glad to answer any questions and schedule a tour if
desired.
Thank you for your interest in Perry Presbyterian Playschool!

C U R R I C U L U M
School days are Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8:30am until 11:30am. Our curriculum is based on the inerrant Word of God -- the Holy Bible -- and emphasizes the teachings of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. It includes Bible stories, music, language arts activities, reading readiness skills, and supervised play in a structured environment to help each child develop self-confidence and self-discipline as they grow spiritually, intellectually, socially, emotionally, and physically.
Our three-year old program consists of two classes. Our student-teacher ratio is one teacher to seven students. We are a “playschool” and emphasize playtime with our three-year-olds where sharing, listening skills, and interactive play is encouraged.
Our four-year-old program has three teachers with a maximum of twenty children. Our K-4 program is designed to prepare the children academically for their next level of learning. Creative playtime is encouraged in this program as well.
The greatest joy we have as Playschool teachers is to see the children grow spiritually. They eagerly look forward to Bible story time and listen intently as God's word is presented to them. They are always eager to ask questions and many lively conversations come from this special time. Hiding God's word in their hearts through music and scripture memorization is a very important part of our program.
